The project was presented a few weeks later during a meeting with the clients, organized in conjunction with a tradeshow held in Kansas City (NCPA), where Sartoretto Verna had a booth.

The compounding (non-sterile) and dispensing areas were designed in compliance with City Council regulations. The majority of the effort was focused on redesigning the prescription and front-end areas of the pharmacy, leveraging Sartoretto Verna’s renowned expertise.

The prescription and back-counter were equipped with two-operator counter desks (mod. Oliver) and plenty of wall-mounted ABS shelves (mod. RAL7). A small office was arranged beside the OTC operation area.

The retail area, featuring the requested pharmacy merchandise categories, was designed to organize the categories and products the pharmacists wanted to sell. This area was structured with an impulse-purchase side curved wall flanking the storage and office, and a straight wall facilitating free-service purchases and an easy visual approach to the OTC area. The inviting and consumer-friendly design was made more traditional and comfortable with cabinet wall-stand units (mod. RAL6).

The communication study and graphic proposal were enhanced with a new logo, centered around a cactus-shaped landmark with a suspended ceiling backlit decoration reflecting a natural blue sky.
