Halo Health Pharmacy

459 E 149th St, Bronx, NY 10455, Stati Uniti

OBjective

Halo Health Pharmacy is a next-generation independent pharmacy located in the Bronx, New York, designed by Sartoretto Verna as a contemporary healthcare retail destination. The project was conceived to go beyond the traditional pharmacy model, creating an intuitive and welcoming environment where architecture, product clarity and professional service work together to build patient trust from the very first moment.

Situated within a dense urban context, the pharmacy was designed to immediately communicate orientation, comfort and credibility. The goal of the project was to transform space into an active tool for guiding the customer experience. Instead of navigating shelves randomly, visitors are naturally led through a clear and structured environment that simplifies product discovery, supports decision-making and reinforces the perception of professional care.

Architecture, spatial planning and visual communication are integrated into a single system, where each element contributes to shaping a healthcare environment that is both accessible and strategically designed to support service and customer interaction.

CONCEPT

The architectural concept of Halo Health Pharmacy is built around softness, clarity and movement. Curved architectural lines and flowing ceiling profiles guide the customer journey naturally through the space, creating a sense of continuity and visual orientation.

Integrated lighting enhances product visibility while maintaining a calm and balanced atmosphere, avoiding visual overload and improving category readability. Along the perimeter, elegant arched display niches transform the walls into a structured navigation system, allowing customers to easily identify product categories and move efficiently through the store.

A central architectural feature acts both as a spatial filter and as a strong identity element. It organizes the layout while preserving openness and warmth, reinforcing the welcoming character of the pharmacy.

The result is a healthcare environment where design is not decorative, but strategic: architecture supports service, guides the customer journey and elevates the overall experience of care.
