Telemedicine and the revolution of the pharmaceutical sector: Luca Sartoretto Verna's speech at Capri Pharma 2023.

Capri Pharma is back, a three-day event dedicated to the pharmaceutical sector organized by the Order of Pharmacists of the Province of Naples, presided over by Vincenzo Santagada.

In its third edition, it will cover every aspect of the pharmaceutical industry, from pharmacogenomics to services, from industry to workforce, and even distribution.

The event, organized in collaboration with CapriMed, will be held on the Campanian island from April 14th to 16th, 2023.

It is an ideal platform to discuss and define emerging scientific, political, and institutional aspects through the contribution of experts and opinion leaders in the profession.

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the digitization process of the healthcare sector, making telemedicine an increasingly widespread and accepted reality. Pharmacies can play a crucial role in implementing these services, becoming real healthcare “hubs” for the community.

To make this possible, it is essential that pharmacies equip themselves with the right technologies and digital infrastructures, such as telemedicine software, monitoring and diagnostic devices, and secure and reliable communication platforms.
