The aim looked at completely restructuring the existing premises. The back part was supposed to be reduced in order to increase the retail square meterage.
New information points were created at the entrance in order to improve the client’s purchasing experience.
The Pharmacy centuries-old tradition is the driving force to start from and then reach a strategic vision, a “customer-first” one, more in line with the times.
Having delocalized the administrative routine-work at the retail entrance area was the winning strategic move. The aforementioned point allows the pharmacist to welcome clients the same way as throughout a hotel concierge. It is a “meet and greet” situation which is highly facilitated by the Pharmacy layout.
The automation, optical readers to be at client’s disposal, make the service be a fast one and collect detailed information upon the displayed products.
The welcoming service continues on the mezzanine floor with a relax area before being introduced to the medical and aesthetic services. There is also a sector fully dedicated to mountaineering.
The Pharmacy “storytelling” is an historical one. It brings within the Pharmacy a reminder of the “grotesque” decorations present on the great buildings around the area. It is something acting as a background and historical memory which pharmacy has originated from.
