Dr Abdulrahman Almalki has been, throughout the years, one of the most affectionate professionals willing to get a pharmacy done with Sartoretto Verna. After carrying out his studies in Australia, he met Sartoretto’s management many times in the Pharmacy Tradeshows around the world (i.e. Dubai, Riyadh…) and went through enough experience to then decide to settle his commitment with us for a new start-up commercial experience.

For this very reason, Dr. Almalki came over in Rome, to Sartoretto Verna’s HQ and was mesmerized by watching the architectural management procedure, the company showrooms with pharmacy concept samples and some pharmacies realized around downtown.

The premises shortlisted were arranged over two floors. The ground was of approx. 200 sqm and the first floor was half of that footage.

The client’s objective was to create the best design pharmacy in town, in order to excite people to come over and start pretty strong with good sales.

The retail area (120 sqm), including a clinical room and a spacious waiting area (8 sqm) facing the OTC,  was basically divided into two commercial lines: the short and direct one to contemplate a separate service access for on-line provision of medicines, and the general layout with appropriate categories for the GCC territory (i.e. woman’s care and baby, medical supply etc) lodged in white modular wall stand units (RAL7 “Easychain”),  and luminous and transparent central stands (“Go-Plexi” model with sloping shelves) with the idea to carry on a franchising concept of pharmacies throughout the Kingdom.

The graphic concept was appropriately studied to be easily communicative, and was embracing basically a contemporary international branding _ to be reported also on the Plexiglas cladding of the two counter desks (model “LEA”) _ with some traditional local touches so typical for the Arabian world.

The first floor (130 sqm), connected with a goods elevator, was instead organized with a functional design to have the big part of storage, on-line services and meeting areas for the staff.

We worked on the pharmacy implementation through the difficult time of Pandemics corona, and it was really challenging to carry out all the logistics and the installation procedures. Sartoretto Verna Staff was very united and focused to make things go on smoothly and without any issue.
