OBJECTIVE
The challenge was to modernize the retail area, as a part of a wider process of renovation and digitalization within a neighborhood pharmacy belonging to Ottavia, an historical outskirt area along Via Trionfale, an arterial road on the northern area of Rome.
Other aims to be accomplished were to meet the attention to traffic flows along the way throughout a modern, fresh and luminous proposal.
There was also the need to increase the display footage and rationalize the public space, improving commercial pathways and the visibility of merchandising products. Special spaces for consultancies and self-analysis services were also introduced.
CONCEPT
Transparence, light and natural ambience with greenish colors.
The Ottavia Pharmacy goes for light nuances, a modern, stripe-shaped and suspended illumination with reference to nature in order to define the clientele pathway up to the counter desk area. The pharmacy desks are two-working station OLIVER® and a one-working station LEA®, detached, so it can constitute a “slow” point, a real “confession corner” with an increased privacy between the pharmacist and the client.
Wide and completely open shop-windows allow the clients in a bumper-to-bumper state to participate within the pharmacy life and dynamics straight from the street, as they were in a drive-in concept.
The interiors after the renovation appear enormously enlarged. And in addition to that we have three separate booths for services and consultancies. A portal finished in stone frames the area dedicated to natural products and supplements which is furnished with Ral System 6® a wooden display cabinet with an elegant and sophisticated design with colored back panel and led light.
